5 Stars Must Buy for any Wii Owners
Overkill is a clash between a cheesy B-movie and the most F-Bombs in any form of entertainment. You laugh, you shoot and RELOAD. Overkill does what its suppose to do with a feeling of authenticity between the two main characters and the language that take place in a world with ZOMBIES. Co-op makes any game better, especially since Overkill only has a Online Leadersboard for an online capability. Its doesn’t get boring if you’re trying to top the next gamer above you with a better game play score. Overkill really cranks up in difficulty when beaten and Insane mode is unlocked, giving some replay ability. If you like guns, laughter and F-Bombs, Overkill is for you. NOT FOR CHILDREN.
3 Stars Too much F word
This game contains too much unnecessary F words. Had to turn down the volume of TV. Is this game targeting at the teenagers or adults?
The game play is fine.
Anyway, the game plot is disgusting.
5 Stars Grindhouse Games
I’m glad their making stuff like this. It’s like watching a Grindhouse movie but your playing it too.How cool is that. And your using the Wii Zapper to kill zombies(like Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles). The storyline is great idea for a adult world.Hearing all the strong profanities and all the blood your blasting. It is easy to control.I do like how the zombies look and popping out to scare you I like that.I love this game.I hope they keep making games like this.
5 Stars Intense, amazing zombie action!
This is my favorite Wii game yet. Amazing life like zapper controls, heart pounding action, frightening zombies, great guns, awesome storyline, boatloads of action and overall one hell of a game. This is the best Zombie game I have ever seen and eats L4D and Resident Evil for lunch with better and more realistic action, gore, zombies, intensity and game play. Best Zombie game ever made.
4 Stars A bit over the top with content but very fun.
I was looking for a reason to keep my Wii. And this game made it for me. The wii is a fun “party” system but for a lone gamer.. not as fun as my 360. I was over a friend’s house and they owed House of the Dead 1&2 and my nostalgia for the arcade came flooding back. So I went hunting. Do I get the older arcade game or go for the upgrade? After thinking for a min it just made sense to have the NEW game on the NEW system. *plus the price to was good.
If you liked the movie GrindHouse… take that track and make it a shooter YOU can play in. I bought the Magnum and the wii Perfect shot. Two different feels. So pick one and go to town.
I hope you enjoy as much as i did.

Get your hands dirty in the early stages of the epic battle between UNSC and Covenant. Developed by Ensemble Studios, Halo Wars for Xbox 360 brings all the drama of a real-time strategy game to the popular Halo Universe. Set in the year 2531, before the initial Halo first-person shooter game, this game lets you control the human armies of UNSC in a whole new way.
Play as UNSC or Covenant and exploit your faction’s unique strengths. View larger. |
Invade enemy strongholds full of advanced technology. View larger. |
Find ways to make the detailed environments work for you. View larger. |
Bring in air support to turn the tide of battle. View larger. |
Experience the Epic Battle from a New Perspective
Defense, offense, and the ability to hold down a command center in the face of hostile attacks: there’s a lot to think about when laying out tactics for an all-out alien war. Featuring detailed environments and complicated new battle mechanisms, this game demands a different kind of perspective than the first-person shooters from the original Halo series. You’ll need to uncover the hidden strengths and weaknesses of each unit and play them to your tactical advantage, and that’s just the beginning.
UNSC: Be Part of a Legendary Conflict
The story opens with UNSC forces retaking the planet Harvest from the Covenant. At your disposal — should you choose to take command of UNSC forces — will be everything from a corps of highly-trained Marines to the Warthogs, Scorpions, and Hornets you’ll need for air and land attacks. You’ll take stock of the map and decide between holding your ground or advancing on enemy strongholds, all while trying to navigate the local terrain and outsmart Covenant forces. And when you need something extra to tip the tide in your favor, UNSC leaders can provide you with the ability to mobilize highly specialized units or call the Spirit of Fire vessel for support from above. Covenant: A Capable, Playable Enemy Faction
That’s right, Covenant is playable in this corner of the Halo universe. This alliance of alien species has manipulated advanced technology, firepower, and tactical prowess into a powerful force that is engaged in a Genocidal war against human race, having branded humans as heretics. With the ability to play as these tough, alien fighters, you’ll have advanced shield technology, the modular Citadel at the heart of Covenant’s colonizing power, and, of course, the iconic Scarab attack vehicle at your disposal, adding a whole new dimension to your strategic warfare. The Scarab is a terrifying military vehicle crafted from heavy mining equipment. And with a mining laser that delivers massive damage across battlefields large and small, turrets for taking on air attacks, and the ability to clamber over any terrain, what’s not to love about commanding Scarabs instead of fighting against them?
Developed Exclusively for Xbox 360
Most console RTS games are adapted from existing PC games, which can make their controls bulky or awkward, but Halo Wars has been developed for Xbox 360 from the ground up. This means the controls are sensitive, intuitive, and easy-to-operate in the midst of battle. And the UI is just as intuitive, so whether you’re managing a unit of marines or a deadly machine, you can focus on creating a battle strategy instead of worrying about how to overcome a clumsy controller.
No matter which faction you choose to play as, you can test your skills against those of other players in online skirmishes that allow up to six players with the New Xbox Experience through Xbox LIVE.

5 Stars Great Game!
This is a great game. It’s engaging and great fun. It’s a real time strategy game with amazing, elaborate graphics. That means there’s a lot of action occurring simultaneously on your screen with many characters, vehicles, and explosions. All hell breaks loose, especially on some of the missions. If you love the Halo universe, you’ll love this game. It’s a great & different way to experience it than in an FPS. In an FPS, you basically feel like you’re all alone. In an RTS, you feel like you’re a part of something big. I like that. It seems like a big challenge to put an RTS on a console and control it with a gamepad, but it works really well. They did a great job. It eventually becomes second nature. And it wasn’t as simplified as I feared it might be. Some of the missions are fairly easy, but some are pretty challenging. I played all the missions on normal difficulty so far. Now I still feel like I want to play them again on heroic and legendary, so it does have replay value. The game has great cut scenes. I played Starcraft before, and I actually like Halo Wars better. I don’t normally complain about games being too short, but Halo Wars did feel a little too short. It has 15 missions. I think it should have been twice as long. Starcraft had 60 missions. I hope there will be a sequel to Halo Wars. I really would like to see more of this game and do more new missions. I think there is the potential for a lot more RTS missions in the Halo universe.
The Halo Wars multiplayer on xbox live is great. But since there is a lot more data involved in RTS games, you’ll need a faster broadband connection than for FPS games to play without lag.
4 Stars Halo Wars Review
When buying this game, you have to come into knowing that it is not a pc RTS, and that it was made specifical for the xbox. With that being said, for a console RTS this game was just great.
I didn’t like the story mode that much, being that I’m not a fan to the whole “Halo” series (Which is why me saying this is a good game, really means something) if you are a fan of the Halo series, you will enjoy story mode quite a bit. For the current generation of systems, I would have expected the story to be a bit longer than it was. I don’t recall the ammount of missions, but I think it was roughly 15′ish. Like I said, though, I didn’t come into this for the story. The online Skirmish matches is what really kept me coming back.
First off, let me get this out of the way. The BIGGEST drawback is the community. Anyone who has played xbox live will know that it is completely littered with young children who scream and complain the moment they start to lose. Anyone who has played a RTS game in the past knows that rushing is a very popular tactic to an early victory. Over half of the time playing this game, my opponents would quit within the first 5 minutes of the match if I didn’t give them time to prepare. The rare times that I actually found someone willing to keep playing though, I had a blast.
For having so many units on screen at a time, this game handles lag very well. For 1 vs 1 matches, you will hardly notice any, however, playing 3 vs 3 you will notice quite a bit of stutters.
Overall, I highly reccomend this game. Like I said, though, if you plan on playing online be patient – odds are you will find people quitting if you start to win.
5 Stars Microsoft . . . YOU’VE DONE IT AGAIN!
Noramally I wouldn’t be playing a RTS game, but I loved Halo 1, 2, and 3, so I thought I’d give it a try. At first I tried the demo at Gamestop. I liked it, so I rented it, I liked it even more, so I bought it. Now . . . I LOVE IT! I don’t know why, but Halo seemed to have made RTS games more fun! I can’t even believe how much fun it is! You can build bases, build an army and destroy the enemy (I thought that you only fought the Covenant, but it turns out that you also end up fighting the Flood and Sentenials!) while doing objectives. The army can range from UNSC marines to Warthogs to Fiersome Scorpions to Hornets! You can also upgrade your army making them stronger to fight the enemy. There are also new things that have been added to the game. There are flamethrower marines and ODST Troopers! There are also new vehicles such as the Cobra (somewhat like the Scorpion except smaller and slower and it is specifically used for vehicle domination), Wolverine (an anti-air vehicle)! There is also the Vulture (a huge transport like ship with missiles and lasers)! There are also Spartans! On most missions there are at least 3 Spartans helping you! Best of all they never die! They only get knocked to the ground and you have to send allies by them and they get right back on their feet! Take note that the Covenant, Flood, and Sentineals also have new allies and vehicles. The Covenant have two new vehicles called the Locust (an anti-building vehicle that shoots laser) and the Vampire (much like the Vulture except smaller). The Flood have new allies, such as flying bird like creatures that are very pesky to Hornets and Infected Jackals. The sentenials have a new kind of machine that can stop a vehicle from working! So your enemies are alot stronger than you, unless you upgrade to higher levels. The landscapes are mostly very big! You will be traveling alot in Halo Wars. Halo Wars is just a game full of endless possibilities and fun! Buy it! You won’t be disappointed!
4 Stars LoveOrHate: RENT IT FIRST!
I’ll keep it brief[er than most] since there are so many long winded reviews on here. This game suffers from the fact that people compare it to console rts games. Frankly, this is an apples and oranges subject. Console rts games by their very nature are going to be extremely different experiences when compared to their PC counterparts.
The campaign is entertaining enough, but not terribly noteworthy. You can beat it beginning to end without learning all the special commands. You will still unlock some cool timeline facts from events in the halo universe, and drool over some spartan cg scenes, but ultimately it left me wondering why they created certain scenarios. Not that it didn’t make sense, but more for the fact that some tasks were just a little weird without making you feel like you just saved the day.
Where this game becomes my crack, however, is in the multiplayer. As with most games in the halo franchise, multiplayer is this game’s bread’n'butter. That’s when you will learn how to control specific units, multitask, jump around the map rapidly, and counter your opponents’ strategy. Campaigning with a friend can breathe fresh air into something that you may have never done again. And there are different skirmish/multiplayer game types to be acquired via XBOX Live Marketplace that put an entirely different spin on your traditional “build ‘em and kill ‘em” strategy games.
You also have to realize that the hype machine will destroy any game, no matter how good it actually turns out. Anything with the Halo brand on it will be expected to rise to and surpass absolutely unrealistic expectations. The greatest games are the games that are just great, but nobody saw coming: People see anything Halo coming from miles away now.
4 Stars The first decent console RTS
I had completely given up on console RTS games for many years when a friend got me to check this game out. I was not disappointed. The controls feel natural, units can be quickly organized and the game is pretty well balanced. The DLC for the title leaves a lot to be desired, and getting all the achievements takes a VERY long time, but overall, this is a solid title for anyone looking for a good strategy game on Xbox 360.

5 Stars The psp 3000 or the psp go vs the nintendo ds
the psp why get the 3000 instead of the 2000 the 3000 has the mic already but the 2000 its a seperate accessory no ghosting on the 3000 and it can play games on the tv without the hidefinition cords the 2000 can’t do that if you can’t wait for the psp go then get the 3000 or if you dont want to pay that $249.99 witch they say was the psps original price but iv’e never seen that price I think the’re lying but if you want to wait for the psp go price to be the true original price $169.99 plus tax its $185.00 mabe more thats what it was when I got the 2000 when it first came out. Note the psp can be exactly like the nintendo dsi so what theres no touch sceen just buy the go camera not only can you take pictures but you can record video with audio all of that can be saved on the psp of course and as far as plain audio recording goes you can get a sony or phillips audio recorder that is compatable with the psp just keep looking I did and I found it all of that is a defenite buy besides the psp also can get mods for game boy advanced, sega, nes, snes, n 64 etc. can be downloaded to the psp via the internet.
5 Stars PSP 3000
Couldn’t be happier with my PSP 3000 playing games, reading books, and the Skype functionality is Superb!!!
5 Stars Only one word — BEST !!!
what can i say about psp ? everything about it is awesome. just awesome !
4 Stars Great Product
This has amazing graphics and a crystal clear screen. I bought this for my 7-year-old and it has never missed a beat even with all of the abuse it has been put through! It was easy enough for him to understand and durable enough for a child of his age. I would absolutely recommend this product!
5 Stars Awesome Little Device – Well worth the $$$
I was ready for the worst after reading several PSP 3000 reviews here and elsewhere. However, in my opinion…
…this is an awesome little unit for listening to music, watching videos, looking at photos, playing games, and browsing the web. My wife owns an iPod Touch and the PSP 3000 puts that device to shame. The PSP 3000 is much more user-friendly, easier to load up with photos, mucic, and videos than the iPod Touch, and the user interface and file conversion is much better. I’m not sure what all the positive buzz is about on the iPod but for my money and time the PSP 3000 is hands-down easier to operate and maintain (especially the file sharing and uploading functionality).
Best of all, there’s no quirky i-Tunes store to have to mess with, just convert and transfer the files like with any hard drive or flash drive…it’s just that simple! Plus the PSP 3000 user interface just looks and works better than the iPod Touch.
I used to own a Sony Milo and the problem with that unit was the wireless connection utility was worthless unless you were practically standing on top of a wireless access point. Not so with the PSP 3K — it picks up lots of wireless signals all over town and you usually have several to pick from…conects in under 30-seconds – and this makes Skype a real alternative to an expensive cell phone if you live in a metropolitan area. I Skype out most anytime I want to now, no matter where I am, using the PSP 3000.
The included internet browser is very nice and supports flash and a lot of other plug-ins you need to view sites fully. This isn’t a watered-down internet you will get…you see the real deal on most sites with reasonable fast loading of pages.
As far as playing games, the PSP is off the charts. There are just so many games to choose from and they all work great. You can have a UMD disk in the unit and still do everyting else on the PSP without having to take it out…just hit the PSP button and choose exit game and you’re ready to go.
Music plays without a hitch with several fun visualizations to choose from. The music menu allows for shuffle, replay, etc…there are tons more options here than with an iPod.
Photos & Videos load and play without error with tons of display options and never a problem.
All files convert easily using the included software no matter what format they started as. The software that comes with your PSP 3000 will convert any music, photo, and video file into a PSP-friendly format and there’s nothing cooler than watching a brand new movie on the plane and having the guy next to you in first class stare in awe when he sees you’re watching the movie he just paid $15 to see in a theater right on your PSP.
Did I mention the fabulous PSP store is just one click away on your PSP main menu? At the store, you’ll find thousands of music, games, movies and TV shows available with fast digital download directly to your PSP through your wireless connection. You could be watching a first-run movie two minutes from now, wherever you are. Now that’s cool.
If you want a cutting-edge, do it all device at a reasonable price that works without a fuss? Buy the PSP 3000!

5 Stars Does what it should
Product is pretty straightforward, don’t bother with AA batteries when using your controller… Works perfectly with solid duration. Only recommendation would be for purchasers to also get an external charger, since the 360′s ports only supply power when the unit is on, and this could be somewhat of a hassle if you’re sitting a long distance from your console.
4 Stars Cheap alternative…
I purchased the black rechargeable battery to match my elite controller. My fault was realizing that this doesn’t come with the play and charge cord but it was no biggie since I already have one for my other controller. I opened the package an plugged it into my controller and immediately plugged in the cord to charge it. The light on the charger went red then green then blank. I plugged it into my other controller to no avail. After some troubleshooting on xbox.com, apparently some of these batteries are faulty. No biggie though, I ordered a replacement from Amazon at no additional charge. They work really well and if you play allot they are much cheaper than buying bucket loads of AA’s.
5 Stars works, and its poink
It works (as in it holds charge and is re-chargeable) and it is pink, what else could you ask for?
5 Stars It certainly beats AA batteries
I bought this to replace my last rechargeable battery pack. Convenient product at a great price.
2 Stars Pretty good…for awhile
I’ve gone through two of these battery packs already. Both died in a little under a year. I expected them to last longer. Yeah you might want to consider buying a bulk pack of AA batteries. Thats what im thinking of doing.

5 Stars XBOX 20 GB Harddrive – Used
I purchased this drive used, and it arrived in good time. The drive was formatted as advertised, and has worked fine for a couple of months now. Would buy similiar from this seller again.
3 Stars XboxHDD
Great hard drive, easy to install, clicks onto the top of the console, was online in minutes! Fast shipping too!
5 Stars 20gb of fun
This is a great buy! I got the 20gb hard drive for the 360, cause I wanted something cheap that would work. I talked to other people about getting a bigger hard drive, and that only seemed necessary if I was going to put a lot of music on my hard drive, I mean a lot, a lot of video downloads, like from call of duty, or halo 3, or if I was going to copy over a game to be on the hard drive, instead of inserting the disc in every time I wanted to play halo 3 or something. Downloading any disc to the hard drive seemed really unnecessary and not worth an extra $60+. This hard drive gets the job done; I’ve downloaded all the call of duty map packs, as well as halo 3 map packs, gta add ons, and burnout add ons. This will get you all the map packs you need, plus any arcade games you want. If you plan on putting your games on your hard drive, or having tons of music then and videos, consider upgrading to the 60gb or higher.Xbox 360 20GB Hard Drive
1 Star Faulty Hard Drive
Upon receiving the hard drive i ordered through amazon from Niagara’s Electronics I found that the device did not work. I emailed the company several times and it took them several days to reply, and once they did there was very little helpful information shared about company policy and or warranty info. i am in the process of sending the product back.
5 Stars Good Value Purchase
I needed a HDD for my XBOX console and found a used one at 5Star Gaming at a great price. Ordered the HDD and got it in very quick order. Pleased with product and especially with 5StarGaming for representing the used product well, and shipping it very quickly. Thanks 5 Star Gaming
